Problem
Dreams are rich, emotional experiences, but quickly fade upon waking. Traditional dream journaling is tedious and often inaccessible right when memory is most vivid. How might we simplify and elevate the way people capture and reflect on their dreams?
Approach
We built an application where users speak their dream aloud, and the app transcribes the audio, analyzes it for emotion and structure, and generates six illustrated comic panels using generative AI. WonderLandAI uses the Google Gemini API for audio transcription, LLM prompts for dream segmentation and sentiment analysis, a prompt-based image generation API for comic illustrations, a React Native frontend with dreamlike UI, and a Node.js backend to orchestrate all services.


Solution
A seamless dream-logging app that combines voice input, natural language processing, and image generation to help users revisit and reflect on their dreams in a creative, emotionally resonant format. WonderLandAI also includes an interactive dream journal where users can reminisce about past dreams.
